I do love to give a handmade gift, and over the last few years, these lavender pillows have always gone down well as an end of term gift to teachers and teaching assistants. They are so easy to make, and I buy nice big bags of heavenly scented lavender from Ebay. Last year my daughter chose some pretty vintage eiderdown style fabrics as that's what we thought suited her teacher - this year she chose bright, graphic floral prints as her teacher is quite young! We made a bundle of three, tied them up with contrasting ribbon, stamped a label and popped them in a little paper gift bag. Perfect for putting in between folded laundry or on a bedside table in a little pile!
