Hello everyone!
Apologies for the rather picture heavy post today - these jars looked so pretty and the light was so beautiful that I had to keep snapping!
So, I now have my shelves up in my craft room, and they are a bit of a revelation - they have sorted so many storage solutions, and I'm still filling them with fabric, sketchbooks and crafting bits and bobs. I've seen vintage apothecary jars on Pinterest filled with buttons, feathers and sparkly bits, and decided to do the same to go on my shelves, to store tiny treasures in. I'm using my Douwe Egberts coffee jars for this - the same ones I used for my Snow Globes. (These jars are fab - they also look gorgeous with flowers in.)
I spent yesterday morning catching up with some of the lovely comments that have been left on my posts since Christmas - thank you for so much for taking the time to leave a comment, I do love reading them. I have replied, and I've answered a couple of the questions that one or two of you had asked, so please do take a look to find my answers.
Have a lovely weekend!

Always delighted to see a new post from your lovely blog! I've read it from the beginning now, and just love it. You are an incredibly energetic person, it's stunning what you've done in a year. I'm moving house soon, and am trying to see potential new houses through your eyes, so I can imagine what they could be, instead of just seeing what they currently are. Thank you also for responding to my question regarding lampshades. I should have told you I l live in the USA, so live in lampshade wasteland (comparatively speaking), however I found a wonderful pink pleated chiffon number on etsy, a sweet pink number with ribbon trim and a slightly asian shape (!!!) and possibly three more of epic loveliness, so I think I'm in good shape. Of course, they aren't inexpensive like a car boot would be, but I'm thrilled all the same! On to the white paint!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I could picture these on my shelves at home :). I especially love the pink feathers, the dipped gold glitter one looks great!
